For many years, Quebec Company have helped with car parking at the Otmoor Challenge half-marathon event in Horton-cum-Studley, which raises money for local charities. They have also entered teams to walk and run the course, separate from the main event. This year, for the first time, Quebec was met with competition from Somme Company who were determined to win the Col Ted Shepherd Trophy for themselves.
All teams finished the 13 mile run exhausted but in high spirits. Quebec Company closely retained the cadet trophy, with a lead of just 7 minutes.
The Army Cadet Force was praised for its help at the event, and through sponsorship and collection buckets we raised £105.85. This money will be donated to the ACF League, which helps to ensure that no cadets have their opportunities limited on account of financial difficulty.
