What did you do this Easter?

James Gurung, 17 April 2010

Sixty recruits from across Oxfordshire came together for a week of exciting training at our residential centre, and took part in a huge range of activities.

On the first day they had an introduction to scuba-diving, tried some archery, went kayaking and completed a command task. On the second, they went paintballing, learned first aid, had a go at shotgun shooting and developed their map and compass skills. The next day was a visit to The Rifles museum in Winchester, followed by a night navigation exercise, and the next was a day out in the field learning tactical skills. There was a disco that night.

The final day saw all the cadets take part in a big Final Parade in front of the Deputy Commandant, the RSM and their parents.
