An action-packed weekend for Oxford cadets

26 May 2011
Last weekend, forty adventurous cadets from Oxford and Kidlington spent two days at our residential centre in Bicester, participating in a huge range of exciting activities. Recruits learnt to handle the No 8 rifle and fired it on the range, and also developed important skills such as fieldcraft and mapwork. Other cadets were out on expedition, and some tackled a challenging first aid course. The seniors continued to develop their teaching skills, and had the opportunity to fire on the DCCT on Saturday evening.
