Another fantastic weekend for Quebec Company

James Gurung, 24 October 2011

Cadets from Quebec Company have enjoyed another great weekend at Read House, our residential training centre in Bicester. Young people attended from all over Oxford and Kidlington, and put their full effort into the diverse programme of activities designed by AUO Wilkins.

Recruits were trained in a range of Basic subjects including mapwork, physical training, first aid and badges of rank. 1 Stars spent a lot of time on the range, 2 Stars learned Arms Drill, military knowledge and compass skills, and 3 Stars developed their teaching technique on a Method of Instruction course.

All look forward to the Company's upcoming events: an Oxford United football match, Remembrance Sunday, Christmas socials and the next training weekend in the New Year.
